I AM A TODDLER.

I am not built to sit still, keep my hands to myself, take turns, be patient, stand in line, or keep quiet.

I need motion, I need novelty, I need adventure, and I need to engage the world with my whole body. Let me Play. (trust me, I'm learning)

Toddler Program [18 months through 2.5 years]

When your child is all over the place, they're discovering their world. At G.A.T.E.S., they can safely explore in their own way. The activities for this age group are built around toddlers' limitless curiosity and their natural desire to push boundaries.

Your child will be introduced to new expectations, a flexible, early schedule, songs and dances, language skills, colors, shapes and even introductory Spanish.

Although your child will be constantly engaged, encouraged and engrossed, this is the average age in which we begin to see children exhibit anxiety about being separated from their parents or caregivers. When children have a really hard time with separations, they may show grief, loss, anger, clinging, whining, or regressive behavior like thumb sucking. Remember that it takes time to learn to accept change. Be patient and reassuring.

G.A.T.E.S. is here to help.
